Good night….

October 26, 2008 · 1 Comment

Dearest Gabriel,

You are now one month short of 3 years old. For the past few days, you have a great achievement -  you were able to sleep by yourself. After mummy fed you milk, you will hold your bolster and close your eyes. Then mummy will ask you, “Can you sleep by yourself?” You will answer “yes” and nod your head. Then mummy will go out of the room.

We are so proud of you that you were able to sleep by yourself at this young age!

Good night and sweet dreams always….

Lots of love,
Mummy

Little Prince

October 20, 2008 · 1 Comment

Dear Gabriel,

Your favorite game now (near 3+) is role play. The role play stories usually are spiderman, snowwhite, bad and good people. You will always asks mummy or papa to be the bad people and when the bad people attacked another one…you will be the hero to save papa or mummy. We have suggested you to be the bad people, but you will definitely reject the proposal!

In another role play, snowwhite, papa will always be the witch and kills the snowwhite( mummy). Then you will be the handsome prince rides on the horse and kisses mummy. Then mummy will pretends to wake up from the dead.

Yesterday night, we went to uncle Bart’s house. Uncle Bart and auntie Angie have given you a party pack. Inside the party pack got one paper crown. Mummy pursuaded you to wear on it so that you look like a prince. Afterthat you went to the mirror to have a look of yourself. You were smilling…I think you were thinking: “Wow! I am so handsome.”  Afterthat you refused to remove it till you went home. Here is your prince look.

Irresistable Hakka Stew Pork

October 20, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Dear Gabriel,

On Sunday 19-Oct afternoon Papa cooked Hakka Stew Pork or “Moon Zhu Nyook” for dinner the next day. We planned to go out for dinner, since it was Sunday. And since Papa cooked quite a lot, we planned to give some to Uncle Bart, and bring you to play with Didi Julian. It was a little past your dinner time and you were quite hungry before we left for dinner. You were looking for somethine to eat on the dinner table and you saw something and said you wanted some. It was Uncle Bart’s portion. Then Papa told you we will give to Uncle Bart, and you can try some that was reserved for the next day’s dinner. Mummy gave you a bit of pork and bracket fungus (“Mook Ngee”). It was so delicious that you can’t wait to eat some more. Then you said “We take to Uncle Bart’s house to eat, ar, OK?” Papa explained that we will go out for dinner, and eat something else, but you kept on wanting to eat the irresistable Hakka Moon Zhu Nyook…

Love,
Papa

Sleeping Habit

October 17, 2008 · 4 Comments

Dearest Gabriel,
You have a special habit when you are preparing yourself to sleep that is you will use your little fingers tapping the tip of the bolster. You will request mummy or daddy to pull long or pull short of the bolster few times till the length that you satisfy in order the cloth are long enough for you to feel good! Even midnight when you cry, mummy will quickly bring the bolster to you for you to tap your fingers on the tip of the bolster and then you will stop crying.
So all your bolsters will look like the below : )

First LRT ride and an unlucky incident

October 8, 2008 · 1 Comment

Dearest Gabriel,

During a car ride in KL, mummy had showed you the LRT (Light Rail Transit) and expecting you would be excited to see it. However, you responded with a disappointed and sad sound “I never sit before.” You kept repeating the same answer for few times. This made us decided to take you to experience the LRT on the next day.

You were excited about the ride but there was a sad incident happened. ‘Gung Gung’ was a victim of a pick-pocket. His wallet was being stolen when he tried to protect you from falling as we got down the LRT…After that, you were keen to catch the thief! You ran together with us to search for gung gung and the thief …You really sounded confident you were the policeman and you were able to catch the thief…we brought you together to the police station to lodge a report. You were smiling when you saw lots of police cars! Mummy saw your fingers were showing a gun pose while you entered the police station. Mummy was smilling : ) While gung gung made the police report, one policewoman asked you your name. Surprisingly after you told her your name, you continued with the story of how the thief stole gung gung’s wallet!! Then when the policewoman requested you to stay back and help to catch the thief, you nodded your head..What an ambitious and cute Gabriel!! : ))

First aeroplane ride

October 8, 2008 · 2 Comments

Dearest Gabriel,

On 1st of Oct 2008, you had experienced your first aeroplane ride to Kuala Lumpur. The night, you had requested to go to sleep right after dinner as you really eagerly waiting to sit in the plane after you woke up : ) When mummy told you that you would fly like a bird and as high as the cloud, you laughed loud and said “Like Super Grover! ” Hahaha!

Early next morning, we took a taxi to the airport. You told the taxi driver, you wanted to go to KL. The taxi driver was shocked : ) When we got up the plane, you were busy playing all the buttons on the chair and the safety belt. We were lucky that Firefly had implemented the refreshment on 1st Oct 08. We were served with muffin and orange juice. You really enjoyed the food and drink : ) Surprisingly, throughout the journey, you were interested to read the safety instruction card. Papa had taken a copy for you even though it was not supposed to be removed. Papa also bought you a model aeroplane for remembrance. The air stewardess fixed the plane for you. You also took a picture with the pilot.
