Dearest Gabriel,
On 19Sept-23Sept-09, we had been to Krabi for a holiday. As usual, you were very happy of the hotel stay. On the first day, when we reached Krabi was already 11pm at night. When entering the room, you were performing the room inspection even though you were sleepy. You switched on and off all the lights, asked many questions on how to use this and that, inspected the toilet and asked why didn’t have your favourite bath tub. This time the hotel room had a special type of curtain – you had to open like raising a flag. You enjoyed playing that throughout the stays…open and close whenever you were free. Whenever mummy and papa wanted to change clothes, we need to remind you and got to make sure you did not open… (behind the curtain is a sliding door which opens to the swimming pool).
On the 2nd day morning, we went to have our breakfast. Our itinerary was actually a site seeing day. However, you insisted to take your beach toys and wanted to play at the beach. You couldn’t wait anymore. The beach was just next to the restaurant. Luckily we were very early on that day and finished the breakfast early. So we brought you to the beach and thought let you have a quick play because we need to go sight seeing in a group. We kept reminding you not to wet your shirt. You have requested us to remove the shoes. When mummy refused, you purposedly poured the sand on my foot. You were very naughty and has lots of ideas to change our decision. End up, papa was dirty too and have to bathe again after the play.
Due to the weather was good on the first day, we decided to go for Island hopping instead of sight seeing. The boat man brought us to 4 islands, the beaches were really beautiful compared to the hotel beach. Crystal clear water and fine white sand! You really enjoyed running around at the beach, you have lost control! When the boat man brought us to one place for snorkelling, you were quite reluctant to get down the water. However at last, you couldn’t resist our encouraging words, you had worn the “extra large” life jacket and went down the water with papa. You were very excited! Mummy purposedly throwed the bread around you so that the fishes would swim near you. This was your first experience swimming in the sea, you were not scared at all and touching the colourful fishes. When you got up the boat, you kept saying you wanted to change your swim suit because it was wet. Even mummy told you we still have to go other beaches, you still insisted…You are a super “clean” boy. End up, the only one suit that mummy brought also got wet, as a result you had to bare your body playing the sand on one of the beautiful island. You really enjoyed so much of the beach. Mummy felt very happy!
Another good experience that we had in Thailand was to walk on the low tide beach…We could walked out till very far away. When you were playing the beach toys and wanted to get water, we got to run far to get the water It was so nice feeling walking on the sand…The sun set very quickly and you refused to get back to the hotel. So mummy had to swim with you for a while in the swimming pool after the play at the beach to satisfy you.
Generally, throughout the whole trip you only enjoyed the beach and also the hotel stay. You kept saying “I want to go back to our hotel” when on the way back to Penang from Haadyai…till Kiu kiu also couldn’t stand and said ” Kiu Kiu hear also boring already, don’t know you tired or not” Hahaha!
Do you know since you were a baby, you were really afraid to have a haircut? You would struggle and cry very loudly, everyone in the barber shop would look at you. We seldom bring you to the barber shop because mummy really couldn’t stand seeing you cry. Whenever you need to cut hair, my first question to the barber was, “Can you cut fast?” I expect them to finish the task within 5-10 minutes. The barber will be stress too when I “throw” this question to them. Some even rejected the business and admited they were slow. There was one barber kept dropping the shaver because she panic. Mummy and papa were standing there giving her pressure
There was once, you stayed in Ipoh Po Po house, Ah Po took the initiative to cut your hair. Her idea was to cut when you were asleep. However halfway through the cut, you woke up! So you hair was half cut and half not cut. When Ah Po brought you for a walk, neighbours would ask is it a new hair style. Hahaha!
We also got an idea, that was to let you have a lollipop while cutting the hair. It worked! However, lots of hair would stick to the lollipop. We couldn’t find water to wash it and we don’t want you to cry, so papa would help to lick the lollipop clean… Pity papa!
And the hair cut crying had stopped when you reached 2 years old. We felt so relieved when you have overcome the fear!
You had a new hair cut yesterday. This was your look!
Since mummy having you in my life, I have experienced many true happiness through spending time with you. This feeling is I had never experienced before which will made me feel so precious of having you…Below are some of my Life Priceless Moments:

2) Breast-feeding the little you during the quiet night
3) Kisses from you on my cheeks and mouth
4) You giving me a big hug
5) Seeing you just catching up all the vocabulary, so cute!
When mummy ask you who you want to marry to when you grow up, you will said ”YOU”
6) Lying down in bed talking and singing to you
7) Watching you sleeping
Thanks for giving me all the priceless & precious moment!
This was your 2nd visit to the Penang Air Itam Dam. It was a nice place to hang around as we could exercise with fresh air, beautiful sights, colourful flowers and seeing eagles fly high in the sky.
For the first time, mummy really worried you couldn’t finish the track and wanted mummy to carry you. Mummy would be too tired to carry you after a long walk..However, you did it. You enjoyed the walk, the nature, the insects and playing with the sticks and writing on the sand.
During the 2nd trip, you even sang mummy and daddy a song.
You had fun on the upih pinang with Julian at Assumption Church. Uncle Bart pulled the two of you. The two of you were like kampung boys! It was thrilling!
One day, mummy brought you for a walk at lake side. We went to feed the fish. Now you enjoyed and learned how to throw the bread far.
Suddenly mummy heard loud sound “Pomp”. Then I saw a big wild pig running across lake plaza.. The wild pig was black and the size is as big as a big motorbike. The pig head is very long…It ran fast and everybody started to run too…Mummy quickly grabbed you and ran but you struggle as you were busy playing with a small dog. After I used all my strength to carry you and ran up a small slope, I was breathless and the wild pig was running at the direction towards us…This made me more panic and my brain can’t work and stop there to think of which way to run was better…Luckily the wild pig suddenly changed direction and ran somewhere else…This was my first time seeing a wild pig and it was really scary. I was shocked at the size of the wild pig. While I was trying to carry you to run, you kept holding me and said “ Mummy, I protect you! I protect you” : ) Gabriel, you are such a darling.
